So tomorrow night, Sony Ericsson are hosting a launch party tomorrow night in London.

It’s not just a launch party, it’s a Global launch party.

Here’s what the invite says:

Join us for an evening of cocktails, canapés and innovative Sony Ericsson product announcements for 2009

“So is this to talk about Sony Ericsson’s Android offering announced in Taiwan the other week?” I asked the very competent PR from Burston Marsteller. (“22nd May: Android cometh: Sony Ericsson confirms Android 2.0 handsets“)

I could hear her smiling on the phone.

“It’s to present Sony Ericsson’s innovative product announcements for 2009,” she said, before adding, “I’m sorry, I just can’t say.”

Here’s hoping it’s Android, Android and thrice Android. In fact, after the Taiwan semi announcement, I’d be rather surprised if it wasn’t Android.

I’m well up for some Sony Ericsson Android goodness.

Further, I’m very interested to discover what kind of mobile developer support they’ll be offering.

I should have some rather good video for you — I’m aiming to talk to the CEO and their chief designers on camera.
