OMTP (“the Open Mobile Terminal Platform”) and their BONDI initiative, is attracting a lot of attention from the developer community. Finally — after a lot of hard work and OEM wrangling, OMTP have got version 1 of BONDI approved by an array of handset manufacturers and operators. This is quite a coup — it means that soon, you’ll be able to use the BONDI framework to develop on one platform — the output of which will be compatible with all handsets that support the standard. So much so that we should start to see BONDI-compliant devices hit the market next year.
Tim Haysom, their Marketing Director, tells us more in this episode.
